The film

Three beats, 12 seconds

  1. AI example: the standoff — a young man with blond hair and a woman with long red hair, one of them turned, in a dark cabin

    SC. 1

    Standoff

One of you has turned, and the other one is holding a gun they can't bring themselves to use.

  2. AI example: the embrace in the cabin — a young man with blond hair and a woman with long red hair

    SC. 2

    Embrace

The gun drops and fear gives way to love, though the danger hasn't changed.

  3. AI example: the memory — a young man with blond hair and a woman with long red hair hugging in a golden wheat field

Three ways people make this video

Most zombie love story videos you see online were made one of these ways.

The way How it works The catch
Face swap on the original clip A template site puts your faces into the viral video. Often several times our price, and the film is someone else's clip with your faces on top.
Write the prompts yourself Generate each shot in a general AI video tool and join them in an editor. Cheap, but keeping faces steady across shots is hard.
VideoZombieCouple Keyframes first, shots one by one, a real match cut and music timed to it. Likeness is close, not perfect. One scene live so far. From $3.00 a video.

What the zombie love story trend is

The zombie love story is a short vertical AI video that took off on TikTok and Instagram in September and October 2026. The world has ended. One partner has been infected. The other one has a gun up and can’t fire. They lower it, hold each other, and the film cuts to the two of them healthy and happy, in warm light, from before.

The original clip is short and set to soft music. People then remade it with their own faces, and some with a dog or cat as the one who turned.

Why it moves people

It is a whole film in a few seconds, built on a real question: would you still choose them if it cost you everything? The standoff makes you afraid for them. The lowered gun answers the question. The memory reminds you what they are holding on to.

The cut does most of the work. Cold blue light and a changed face, then golden hour and the same two people laughing. You fill in everything between. That is why the zombie AI love story hits harder with real faces. It is not a stranger’s memory, it is yours.

The story beats, shot by shot

Our film is 12 seconds long and follows the trend’s shape in four shots and a title.

  1. Standoff. A slow push-in from behind the survivor’s shoulder, toward the one who turned.
  2. The hand. A close-up. The hand on the gun trembles, and the finger slides off the trigger.
  3. The embrace. The gun comes down, arms open, and they hold on while the camera circles.
  4. The memory. A match cut into a sunlit field. Same pose, same framing, both of you well.
  5. End title. A one-second card with a line, your names and a date, if you want them.

How to make one well

We tested image and video models on AI-generated couples before building this. These lessons apply whatever tool you use.

Keyframes first. Don’t ask a video model for the whole story in one go. Make stills of the key moments, check the faces, then animate each shot from a frame you like. Faces drift much less.

Say who is who, every time. With two photos, models sometimes swap the roles and turn the wrong person. Name the survivor and the one who turned in every prompt, and never let it guess.

Keep the zombie makeup restrained. Pale grey-green skin, cloudy eyes, a few dark veins. Heavy rot, wounds and blood hide the face, and some models refuse the frame outright. Restraint keeps you recognisable and the scene sad rather than gross.

One action and one camera move per shot. Ask for too much and the motion turns chaotic, and the faces go with it.

Make the cut a real match cut. Give the embrace frame and the memory frame the same pose and framing, then cut hard between them, with the beat of the music on the cut. A generated transition only gives you a blur.

What it can’t do

No AI keeps a face perfect. Expect a clear likeness with small differences. Side photos, sunglasses, dark pictures and group shots make it worse, and bald heads, hats and head scarves can change. That is why you see the key frames before you pay.

The people in the example images on this site are AI-generated, not real customers.

Try it

Add two photos to the tool above, check the free preview, and make the film when the faces look right. Videos start at $3.00 each, one-time, with no subscription. Photos are deleted within 3 days and are never used to train AI. See the home page for scenes and pricing for packs.

Questions

What is the zombie love story AI trend?

A short AI video that spread on TikTok and Instagram in September and October 2026. One partner has become a zombie, the other can't shoot, they embrace, and the film cuts to a happy memory of them together.

Where did the zombie love story video come from?

From one viral clip that people remade with their own photos. We are not affiliated with TikTok or the clip's creators, and we don't use its footage or music.

Can I make a zombie love story AI video for free?

You can preview it free. A free account gets 3 previews a day, each with the standoff and memory frames. The full video starts at $3.00 a video, one-time, with no subscription.

Why do faces change in AI zombie videos?

Video models redraw every frame, and long single generations drift. Starting each shot from a checked keyframe and keeping the makeup light helps most.

What prompt should I use for a zombie love story?

Plan four shots, not one prompt. Describe the setting, who is who, one action and one camera move per shot, and keep the zombie look specific but light. Ban blood, biting and gunfire outright.

Is it scary or gory?

No. There is no blood, no biting and no shooting. The zombie side has pale grey-green skin and cloudy eyes so the story reads, and nothing more.
